So it becomes apparent that to replace the down pipe , you have to remove the crossmember , which I think in my case has never been off , oh I wish i’d have cleaned it after the last pit run , anyways , I cut all the bolts off and bashed the cross member out , yeee harrrr , until I spot yet another rot hole , so once more this i’ll Be laying on my back welding the thing , I must be bloody mad . Anyways , atleast I can fit the downpipe now

A brief thrash around norfolk with me put back together toy , the manifold no longer leaks , yeee harrr , it still randomly cuts out , when pulling away in first , must be a crappy connection , cos it’s like off/on very quickly and then it don’t happen again? I’ve now started on the inside . Next up , pit day tomorrow
