Bit confused as it say semi synthetic under the oil type section right at bottom but specs are right. Am I better off with this fully synthetic stuff that's LR approved? https://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-84114-fuchs-t...e-oil.aspx |

All the LR techs I know say stick with fully synth. I hvae sone that fir my Td5 and my RR SC as they are both all aluminum.
The manual says so long as it meets the spec, however I also go with fully synth and I use no dino oil in my motor. Users manual and shop manual spec: Td5 diesel engine sump 5W/30 5W/40, 5W/50 Oil to meet ACEA A1.98 & B1.98 2010 Range Rover MkIII Autobiography Super Charged (Idris) 2003 Range Rover Mk III (Desmond FitzWilliam) 2000 Defender 110 CSW TD5 (CTX) 1992 Range Rover Classic (Lizzy) 1972 Series III 300 Tdi (Stanwood) 1967 MGB GT Every normal man must be tempted at times to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin to slit throats.
