mine went in for the handbrake recall and now the gear changes are also sticky/snatchy. Used to be only on 1-2 & 2-3, but now it's on all changes! -- 2010 Defender Puma 90 + BAS remap + Alive IC + Slickshift + Ashcroft ATB rear 2015 Range Rover Sport V8 Supercharged Defender Puma Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zZ1en9 Discovery 4 Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zXrtKO Range Rover/Sport L320/L322/L494 Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zc58JQ |

hmm, did you also have the weird thing where the engine revs if you roll forward in neutral/clutch in? -- 2010 Defender Puma 90 + BAS remap + Alive IC + Slickshift + Ashcroft ATB rear 2015 Range Rover Sport V8 Supercharged Defender Puma Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zZ1en9 Discovery 4 Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zXrtKO Range Rover/Sport L320/L322/L494 Workshop Manual: https://bit.ly/2zc58JQ |

On mine also when in neutral (clutch in or out) and roll forward the engine revs increase by about 50 to 100 rpm (estimated) My Defender 2.8i also does this. I think it is how the engine management software is programed?? The Engine ECU sense the car is moving (speedo drive in tranfer case) and for what ever reason the ECU software increase the rpm by adjusting timing/fuel (Can not explain) Abrie 1997 Land Rover Defender 110 HT 2.8i (BMW M52) 2009 Land Rover Defender 110 HT 2.4 TDCi(Puma) |
