It's always been notchy/snatchy but it's a Defender so assumed it was okay. Clearly it's not.

mine went in for the handbrake recall and now the gear changes are also sticky/snatchy. Used to be only on 1-2 & 2-3, but now it's on all changes! Shocked --

hmm, did you also have the weird thing where the engine revs if you roll forward in neutral/clutch in? --

Nope - not got that issue.

TBH it feels fine and I expect a tiny bit of notchiness in a Defender.

The clutch bite point is a little different so my initial reversing out of the car park (very tight at Riders Truro) involved some comedy kangarooing!

No juddering, no rattling (used to rattle when idling) and feels much better.

I was a little sceptical of Riders at first but they've done a pretty good job this time. Defender 110XS SW gone... now VW California 180 4 Motion.

On mine also when in neutral (clutch in or out) and roll forward the engine revs increase by about 50 to 100 rpm (estimated)

My Defender 2.8i also does this. I think it is how the engine management software is programed?? The Engine ECU sense the car is moving (speedo drive in tranfer case) and for what ever reason the ECU software increase the rpm by adjusting timing/fuel (Can not explain)
