Anti-roll bar advice please
I would like to improve the road manners of my 90ht puma that does not have any anti-roll bars fitted.
Rear bar only? standard or heavy duty? (I'm not going around a race track, just improve the body roll when cornering) I would like to purchase a kit of parts, does anyone have any experience of this please?

I’d fit both and they’re cheap second hand genuine or take off on that auction site.

Standard factory spec 25mm front and 19mm rear with Super-pro bushes will make a big difference to having no ARB at all.

However, if you want to go further a 25mm rear Eibach Bar makes a huge difference. Will fractionally reduce off road articulation... but a big difference on the road when used with the standard front ARB.

fitting a front ARB will make the biggest difference first off. Cheers

If you want to install ARB's on Front and Rear go as Porny said. If you do not want to compromise rear articulation then install the X-Eng Deflex.

Sold by Foundry 4x4 now.

Installed mine over 100+k miles ago and has given me no trouble apart from having to change a selector about 10k ago, but that was probably because I was unfortunate to have clipped a rock which broke off part of the casting.

Indeed Alive and Bowler say that uprating the front ARB is all that is needed, the rear ARB is more than sufficient. (at least that was the advice for my 110DCPU) Thumbs Up Monsieur Le Grenadier

SO I've just picked up a 3rd hand uprated Alive ARB, I'd assumed it would be fitted to the rear but should I be putting it on the front? Are the front and rear the same? James

Oops Shocked

Just checked their site. Maybe I have got this the wrong way round? They only have rear ARBs listed. Mmmm, I never fail to amaze myself with my complete ignorance and stupidity Whistle

Defintly have a chat with Gary @ Alive, I'm sure he'll have a solution.

As Porny said above, the standard front is 25mm and the rear 19mm. Darren

Try TMD I got uprated ones from them for sensible money and mate just picked up a factory pair off eBay for £40. Make a big difference over no bars
