Fuelly
Hi Guys,

Found this cool site that lets you monitor your consumption and share it with other, may be worth it for others here - www.fuelly.com.

You can add multiple vehicles, and also specify the price of fuel for each fillup and the site calculates the cost per km, avg fuel prices, etc.

As an example, see the banner in my signature (how economical is my landy, hey!).

Just got back from my trip to Spain and filled in all the info on fuel used on Fuelly.com.

Quite interesting, my TD5 seems to love the hot weather? up to 31mpg at 1 point in Spain...As low as 25mpg climbing the Pyranees to Andorra.

Quick summary.

2300 miles total

£511 spent

Cheapest fuel in Andorra 99p a litre.

Not really, I loved every mile Smile

But if I was putting it into something like a Mondeo then yes I agree.

The average mpg on our grand tour of Europe last year (also driving a 2000 90 Td5 with a tent on top) was 31mpg. Thought the new 110 would be much worse but no, still over 30 every time. No idea how some people manage to get such poor economy? The 110 manages 25mpg with 7 people in and a twin-axle box trailer on the back Shocked

I am pretty sure now mine has a problem, I did see 31mpg but only when it was 35 degrees in Spain?? Its a bit up and down if you look at my chart.

Maybe MAF sensor?

Getting a VNT and remap soon so should get it running better Smile

i think all we need to know is the disco 2.7tons 3.0 V6 gets better MPG than our trannie van engine in a lighter brick.

Why wont they just install it already.
