sound as bad as my wife Rolling Eyes

they certainly are different to normal bulbs - just as the headlight bulbs are different

any reason you would think they are a con? Mike

2 for £5 as it happens Laughing

I know you dont need NAS spec lights for the LED bulbs - fact is the LED ones are £12 and im not 100% convinced they are better (and i dont like the NAS specs as mentioned)

but £4.98 (actually) for the up rated ones maybe better way to go Mike

Am I missing something here. I thought the light output of side lights had a limit and it was below brake light output and fog light output.

I have fitted additional high level LED lamps (just below the gutter) and wired them through a relay and switch to the side light output. Problem is they seem too bright and I get flashed as if ive left my fog light on. The plan with the new truck is to wire them as fog lights. Whats broken now ?

Well its the age old Yes....but no!

Yes the output is technically 21watts...but the output can be "higher" eg: brighter in a number of ways, the filament is thicker and the gas in the bulb - other factors that dont apply to us like the reflector and lense.

These bulbs apparently "respond" quicker when you press, giving a faster response - thus people behind get a better response time (i understand LED's also do this) and when they do light they shine brighter.

The thing for me is the cheapest i can find the LED bulbs is £12 and these are £4.99 - but at the end of the day they are just bulbs.

Think a little like the front bulbs. Mike
