Try back flushing the rad from the fan side. Not too much pressure though.
There is a Land Rover "chaff" guard to help prevent this sort of radiator clogging issue when driving through long grass; MTC4220. https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-MTC4220 |

Phew, they've gone up in price!
When I bought a new one from Blanchards four years ago it was about £60. The original, very early chaff guard seems to be a different design to the Rimmer Bros offering, with smaller holes than the new replacement item:  Click image to enlarge |

I have a feeling that the chaff guard on my 86in which my son now looks after has an even finer mesh, I doubt any grass seeds could get through it.

Of course it would not be a difficult job to actually make something like this for yourself, or get your local fabricator to if you wanted a finer mesh.

1. Yes, it can be if it impedes airflow to a significant extent, or the seeds start growing! 2. Careful use of compressed air from the backside of the radiator. |

Vacuum worked on mine, but does need to be a good power and used accurately.
Anything that wouldn't shift, air from the rear asBW suggested would probably be best as BW mentioned. You'd be surprised what gets in there grass seeds aside. I've known parts of insects, a feather or two. Spiders webs inc spider parts. Nearly always sommeging wasp related, either that or in the airbox or down the air duct into the cab whilst driving along.  TheThunder Rolls🇬🇧🇺🇸

I had to take the front grill off recently and found seeds, wasps, flies etc in the fins used a vacuum to clear them out. Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to  us off.
