sadly I cannot link it to the internet using wireless tech, due to the age and support of windows 3.51, There is very little hardware support for windows 3.51, Windows NT4 may have a chance. But I did get it working as a proper Domain controller to windows 95 workstations ![]() My mate saw the same photo and he said, that's the 1st time windows 3.51 has saw a flat screen monitor! Did you use or work with this version of windows? Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back Success is 90% Inspiration and 4 minutes Preparation # you can make it! |

I saw it being used in a test environment, but cut my teeth on Novell and later Windows NT 4.0 and above.
Back in 2015 I joined a team to help decommission many NT4 domains for a large organisation. Some of the applications wouldn’t run on anything newer than Windows 2000, which was their next project. I still have the CDs’ for NT4.0 (server and workstation). I did install the server on a virtual machine with 4Gb memory. I used the MS Loopback adapter to connect through so it could access the internet. Boot time was amazing😊 |
