I have saw a video on youtube, where a computer hacker, wiped every single computer on the scammers network. They tried to bull him, but with his tricky bat file, you could see it working. I have a football ref’s whistle by the phone for those that really annoy me.
Calls from Johnny Foreigner I sometimes play along to & then when I am asked about mobile phones l tell them that I think that they are the work of the devil. I mean how can they work without wires joining up the other person you are speaking to? They soon think they have a complete nutter on the line Guy May your life be like toilet paper ; long & useful. |

Most of the rubbish calls are just recorded messages these days, but if my wife gets a 'human' on the other end of the line, she waits for them to run on for a bit, and then asks them whether their mother is proud of what they are doing? That usually gets them to end the call pretty quick.

Most get between 5-10 calls a day on an o2 mobile. Unless I know the number or they leave a message I never call back from the mobile. Very rarely are two numbers identical, but some are very similar with just a few digits changed. Also get a lot that look like landlines starting "01" and they seem to come from as far down as Devon and high up as Aberdeen plus everything in-between. Decided to phone all of them back with a starting pistol to hand, but every one was either "their is no such number" or an automated message "thanks for the call. Configure your numbers voice url to change this message".
O2 and Sky have got to be the worst offenders for giving your number to 3rd parties. BT isn't far behind. Recently moved house using Rightmove, put in sky and a new phone line. Cant remember the number of calls I got shortly after either trying to sell house insurance, sky box insurance, calls to join BTTV, etc, etc....My mobile is now just left on silent all the time!! Reported it to O2 and they said they are aware of it but there nothing they can do. When my contract is up Ill change service provider, but then who can you trust these days?!? |

That's O2, BT, virgin etc to blame, for selling on people details! I wonder how many people they have scammed. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back
