Hi Shaun,
1. Yes, if you want to. You'd obviously have to drill suitable holes. 2. Depends on your budget. There are some quite cheap ones available on the likes of eBay that seem to perform very well for the money. They are almost always not correctly marked to be road legal but many folks don't worry about it as it doesn't seem to cause any practical issues. At the other end of the scale, you can spend hundreds of pounds on lights such as those by Lazer, which are fully road legal. The arguments for and against are many and varied and a quick search will provide you with lots of bedtime reading. 3. It will need to be wired to the main beam headlights via a relay so as not to overload the existing wiring and particularly the switch. There are lots of ways to achieve this though, depending on your skill and knowledge. If you're not confident then get somebody else to do it, as getting it wrong can make 'bad things' happen. Again, a search for 'spotlight wiring' will give you lots to read. Thanks so much for the reply, I have a little knowledge around electrics, but prefer to have someone do the correct job.
