Click image to enlarge I think it looks beautiful without the back on. It’ll probably go back on at somepoint. When I get bored of walking the dogs on the streets rather than the beach 😂 2011 Defender DCPU 2.2 - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic30623.html Instagram - @r22oyp Roy |

The number plate light/mount is a farcorners products. It’s a fantastic bit of kit and encompasses an LED numberplate light.
The work light is just a cheap Chinese one but provides more than enough light for reversing. 👍 2011 Defender DCPU 2.2 - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic30623.html Instagram - @r22oyp Roy Last edited by Roy5695 on 28th Aug 2018 8:47pm. Edited 1 time in total |

Don't get me wrong Roy, it does look good without the back on i was just thinking if the back was not going on, then a full length roof rack would good on ( imo ) 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Keeper. Clayton. |

When my spare wheel carrier turns up the roof rack might come off as well. Although I’d then have nothing to mount the lights on. We shall see. The beauty of an ever interchangeable vehicle. 2011 Defender DCPU 2.2 - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic30623.html

I see, you can always get a light bar that goes across the front for the lights 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.

One day I’d love to have a full cage on it. When it’s a bit older and a few more battle scars. Until then she’s a bit of a show pony.
I have a weep of oil from the back of the transfer box at the minute. Traced it back to the intermediate shaft so that will Need sorting at some point. 2011 Defender DCPU 2.2 - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic30623.html Instagram - @r22oyp Roy |

You don't have to have battle scars to have a full roll cage on

No harm in having an oil leak, its what keeps the chassis from rusting away
That does help if you need the money and the time 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Keeper. Clayton. |

I can't make my mind up whether I like my DCPU as is (which I do, when I see her every day) Click image to enlarge or with just a roll cage Click image to enlarge or with a canvas hood Click image to enlarge Choices, choices... My thoughts as well. Indeed one of the few positive and non-manipulated (by me) suggestions from Mrs Grenadier. But the Roll Cage cash just went on an output shaft and clutch replacment. Still have plans, but I think I may have to sell myself to raise some cash and Mrs Grenadier will no doubt say that it may take some time Monsieur Le Grenadier

The wife just rolls her eyes and says “what you looking at now??”
She never says no though 😂 to me buying defender parts that is Not sure what will be next, either 18” wheels, black headliner, new light bars, fancy a tonneau cover for the tub now, but looking for a foldable Ali one is proving difficult. 2011 Defender DCPU 2.2 - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic30623.html Instagram - @r22oyp Roy |
