You don't need to get it serviced by a dealer to maintain the warranty anyway. Any reputable garage can service it and even do warranty work. It states this in the warranty terms (because it's illegal under EU law for them to force you to use franchised dealers) There might be something about the garage you use needing to be VAT registered, but I think that even got dropped in the end.
But for actual warranty claims it makes sense to use a main dealer, so you get to eat their biscuits, drink their coffee and drive their loan car.
