Following on from my Gatwick exploits, why do mums insist on walking toddlers off planes and taking up the whole gangway as if it is some worthwhile learning experience for wee Johnny or Kate? Or else pick the little f**ker up (you can probably tell, I don't have kids) and walk at the same pace as everyone else. Evil or Very Mad

I hear ya... Me and Mrs D-J absolutely hate kids... (I know someone else on here like this)

As its grumpy old man... why does the world have to make way for kids/people with kids/people expecting kids etc etc?

"ooh, I've got a baby"
"ooh, I can't park there I've got a kid"
"ooh my kid can scream and shout and cause loads of disturbance, but we'll glare at you walking a DOG"

and the news... something happens, car crash or boat sinks, "several people died, including A (INSERT YEAR) OLD CHILD".... and? why not mention tax paying adults who go to work every day? why are kids so important?

Sitting in an airport lounge, in what I considered to be an 'isolated' spot. Why, therfore, did a young teen girl with verbal diarrhoea chose to sit next to me? And in a droning timbre to boot. Big Cry Monsieur Le Grenadier

I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list.....

Same here on the kitchen floor heading for the dog's food bowls, one of my dogs usually comes to me and creates a fuss if he finds them in his bowl until I remove them. Nothing worse than picking up a wet slug with a piece of kitchen roll. For those who like Welsh Mountains and narrow boats have a look at my videos and photos at..

Feel your pain - this very morning walking Shropshire Hills, dogs at heel, 360 view, buzzard circling, bliss.

THEN a horde of brightly coloured, rucksack wearing, walking pole toting, loudly chattering, mostly late middle aged lower middle class female RAMBLERS appeared. Each equipped with an irritating laugh and the inability to be quiet and enjoy their surroundings.

Hell is indeed other people Evil or Very Mad

She's barely stopped since I posted and what's more, the plane is delayed. Big Cry

I'm off for an 8Chf beer. It's not often I think a badly poured, flavourless and wildly over priced beer is a worthwhile investment, but needs must Whistle Monsieur Le Grenadier

I sometimes go and stare in wonder at the food and beer prices.

Grenadier, your challenge is to buy her a drink and get her views on Brexit, internal combustion engines and Love Island. Not necessarily in that order.....
