I lost my dear JRT recently. It was awful going to work alone, no walks and no one to talk to!
Then about a month in I was offered this little chap, he was given to an old housebound woman living in a flat with no garden as a 2 month old puppy by her family to "giver her some company". She loved him to bits but couldn't cope with him. He wasn't really house trained and he wouldn't eat dog food and had no idea what "outside" was, but, a few months down the line and he is doing really well and coming to work every day, chasing squirrels and doing normal dog stuff. Things are getting back to normal. Click image to enlarge |

^^^it's hard going without a dog when you're used to them.
It looks like he's enjoying himself there |

Yes, it's like loosing a limb! And I had no idea what to do with the extra hours in the day not out walking! My routine was shot to pieces!
He's a bit of a mummies boy, not quite the rough tough ratter that my Millie was but i think he will get there eventually. He's not had his first kill yet, it took him ages to work out squirrels went up trees! He just kept running and couldn't figure out where they had gone! |

when it comes to dogs I can become emotional many is the time I have watched Paul O'Grady's for The Love of Dogs with a tear in my eye.
So when I saw this picture of a Dog that had escaped the recent Greece fires, I thought the poor little thing I hope his owners found him and that he is OK.
