Simple things first and you have probably checked already that the earth lead is tight on the battery?

yeah completely un-attached and re-attached the battery still no luck! i read somewhere about some 'code' that needs to be entered to disable to the immobiliser through some sequence with the key but not sure if that was a thing or someone taking the P*ss

Then remove and replace the relays under the drivers seat in turn. They should be a good tight fit

I might be wrong but don’t you have to leave the battery off for 30 mins to reset everything? I’m sure someone will be along soon to tell me I’m wrong

If you have your drivers pack with you you may have the method and unlock code in it.

S.H.M.B.O. had this problem a couple of years and some on here suggested that she get out , lock the vehicle wait 2 minutes the unlock and try and start it . That worked and still does , if I remember correctly its down to the immobiliser and key fob. Don't make old people mad.
We don't like being old in the first place, so it doesn't take much to ![]() Richard |
