Cheers
Had always wanted to do one. Luckily got the excuse a couple of years ago because "Snow." Mum wanted a Jimny or similar. I offered to build this. (I'm such a good son ) Click image to enlarge This was me towing it back from Whithams. Click image to enlarge Mid rebuild. I also specc'd a cage for it too. Infact its got the first Safety Devices 110 soft top unit. http://www.safetydevices.com/expedition/pr.../645/1897/ Cetane |

@cetane, that's really nice, I love seeing 110 rag tops, but that's just cool!
You can't beat a drive to the pub on a warm evening. Last night.... Click image to enlarge |

Oh shh, all you soft toppers!
I do like the two-door 110 soft tops, but 4 door 110 soft tops, which do tempt me I'm still undecided if they look right? Went to drop some parts off at the paint shop.
Despite having seen many many vehicles in this state before, it is still a funny feeling seeing your own in bits. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge |

Began cleaning mine, ended up having to find a cool spot out of the sun to do it because it's just too hot to do such work in the full sun and hot paintwork.
First time I've used Meguiars new alloy wheel cleaner: https://www.amazon.co.uk/Meguiars-G180124E...&psc=1 Really impressed with it, and works well on Alu CP too. PH neutral as well. Much like that Bilberry stuff really but it is very good! My alloys were nearly black with brake dust and general dirt and 95% of it just fell off when rinsed. It's time for a really deep clean so will be at it for a couple of days when I get the chance. $W33T $0U7H3RN $UG4R 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |
