Spotted on Sefton coast.
Council rangers Where I got my taste for defenders 25 years ago. Mainly 200 and 300tdi back then but I was given the honour of putting the livery on a new 110sw and taking it to southport flower show. New over inflated sand tyres in the wet made it an interesting drive/slide Click image to enlarge |

You didn't notice the pair of dark late model Defenders then? They're used by the management plus the Kayak/canoe set up at the saw mill on Caben-Coch reservoir. That one is distinctive as it's one of the last off the production line but has rear inward facing seats, the chap who drives it told me that they specced it so from the local dealer as they use it as a minibus and it is legal in a grey sense. I've just got a picture of the back corner but jt is pretty tidy Click image to enlarge |
