Can't really help with the problem but for the short term maybe pull the fuse for the radio? At least you won't have to worry about a flat battery then.

Hi
I picked up a 110 usw last September and thought I was going mad. Radio on during the night, or when we came back to it after parking up. The dealer changed the unit and showed me a stack of radios with the same fault - all out of Defenders! 2010 XS USW 1957 Series One 88 diesel 1958 Series One 88 4x2 |

Thanks everyone. At least it isn’t just me!
Greyman, can you tell me where to find the radio fuse? Sounds like a sensible solution for the time being. Seriesonenut, when you say you took it to the dealer and they changed it - was that the dealer you bought it from or did you take it to a Land Rover dealer? I bought mine privately but if I could take it to a Land Rover dealer to get it swapped out because it is faulty then I will do that. That might be too much to hope for! Cheers. |

Hi
Independent dealer I am afraid. The cost of anew head is not too steep, however I went back within the 3 months I had an opportunity to and to be fair no question, just done. 2010 XS USW 1957 Series One 88 diesel 1958 Series One 88 4x2 |
