Why "stood down"?
Why not a rap on the knuckles and a bit of PC training? I hope no-one drowns because a lifeboat is not fully crewed. On a wider note, it does almost seem a crime to be a man in this country today. Unless he fits the specification that women approve of. |

Interesting article in the paper over the weekend. Double page spread. It seems the RNLI is awash with money. They have managers galore, most of which wouldn't know one end of a boat from the other, who are falling over themselves to be PC. They have even taken to spending money on "drowning prevention" in places like Tanzania, Zanzibar,Bangladesh, Ghana. In Lesbos they are reportedly helping migrants who try to cross in unseaworthy boats.

That article is hilarious there is generations of experience crewing these boats with some absolute idiots pulling the strings ,all the volunteers should walk out.
I was out on a rib cruise this weekend at Caernarfon circa 25 ribs of different sizes going out over the Bar there was a stricken yacht that we towed back in to safe water |

What's funny is even old timers didnt believe in forced marriage in the 50's, yet progressives in Europe insist on flooding Europe with migrants who believe in forced marriage. Progressives hate them some Christian's yet love them some migrants from pro sharia countrys. |

In the United States, progressives have tried the brand the burka as empowering to women. Political correctness is social meddling by the left and their ideas dont progress anything but chaos as of late. Progressives in America define a womans freedom by her ability to abort her child but they dont want her to be able to own a gun and wouldn't stick up for her if she was attacked by an illegal alien. Roll your eyes all you want but let's just be real.

With regard to immigration, if you believe western democracy has produced the most wealth and freedom for the world, although not perfect, than you promote its values and not import people who disagree with those values. If you want to disrupt western democracy than you disrupt its values and traditions as well as its borders and language. Your question sounds so much like post modernism as if there is no black and white but only gray. Western democracy promotes freedom for all regardless of color, religion or gender. Islamic theocracys only promote adherence to Islam. Communist states dont value individual freedom but promote allegiance to the state. Western democracy's should recoil at any and all forms of tyranny either by religion or by government.
