Rattling gearstick
Can anybody she'd any light on a rattling gear stick on a td5 110 "r380" gearbox with an lt 230 transfer box.
I have checked and rechecked/ adjusted the bias adjusters as per workshop Manuel.
I am thinking now perhaps proshafts. as the transfer box was rebuilt about a year ago.
Any feed back would be a great help thanks.

Possibly UJ’s. Try greasing them and see if there is any difference at all before exploring further.
If that is it ultimately they’ll need changing though. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️

Make sure that your gear lever is tightly fastened to the pivot pin shifter. I think it needs a 17mm spanner. Mine was loose and produced a sizzling type of noise

What he said... kinda common rattling point. Also be sure your shift ball bushing is not worn and needing replacement. 2010 Range Rover MkIII Autobiography Super Charged (Idris)

I have this issue on my 90 td5, recently had a slick shift fitted which has reduced rattle a bit, probably due to new parts and bias springs being adjusted but I still have some rattle, my mechanic did say that the gearstick turret was worn and properly contributing so will replace that. Maybe worth checking Terry.

Nice one mate.
As I also have a slick shift fitted.
The turret sounds a feasible culperate as it's original and done about 200.0000 miles.
Will look into that.
