Hi
Here is a picture of the turbo off a car, not that you can see a lot of difference unless you had it side by side the old one where you will see the compressor size difference. Click image to enlarge Ian and my self have a hell lot of developement work to finish with this project so figures on the dyno an more info will come as and when its done. Thank you for your post Steve. Pete |

Presumably this will only "work" with a remap etc?

i can only asume this will work on a vehicle with additional mapping
but as my truck is not in any state of standard form there is no point me trying it with the standard tune regaards steve 2015 2.2 tdci hardtop xs 3.2 conversion DONE 238bhp and 707nm torque and thats just the start ;-P hybrid turbo in build -done ready to fit ashcroft atb in transfer box 6 speed auto in build |

Been down Ian's unit tonight and watched some video from yesterdays testing/playing down at Bruntingthorpe. Ian's Puma certainly accelerates at an impressive rate and doe'snt seem to have any flat spots with the remap that they have done...like Pete says there is more to do, and looking forward to see what happens.. It will work without remap... but the gain would only be small. I have a couple of video's filmed at Bruntingthorpe the other day.... I meant to take a few other video's, but I was either taking people round the track (or letting them drive) - or was too busy testing the brakes in various other vehicles (including skylines, Audi RS6, Noble etc etc). Couple of video's here... not the best quality... but show a lap round the track, and a 20 - 100mph blast. &NR=1 The Aerial Atom in the one video was pulling about 155mph down the straight (supercharged honda VTEC), I could get 142mph out of the RS6... and just under 115mph (about 108mph on GPS) in the Puma before I had to start braking. As mentioned, this is only early days... so a lot more to come!!! Ian |

Feel free to pop round if you want a drive Interestingly... the turbo looks standard from the outside. It's the inside that is different.... and it's not just a different compressor wheel! Which means I doubt a LR dealer would even notice..... Ian |
