Ok this is new... at least to me.
I have an October 2007 110 Utility, regularly serviced and with all recalls made. This morning i was driving around Reading when... i notice the dashboard all illuminated and the light's light in the dashboard on like if my headlights were ON. I check the switch and the lights were OFF. I lift my foot from the brake pedal and all dashboard lights turn off. I push the pedal again and the night lighting is on again (including cigarette lighter and radio). Now,i haven't touched any cable, the brake lights work flawlessly, the car runs like a clockwork. Has anyone experienced anything like this before? Thanks for any hint! |

Not that one, but sounds like an earth issue. Puma 110" SW

That is right. Make a test with a wire and do the connection between the negative of the brake light with some good spot on the chassis or the bolt/nut that holds the plate light. Puma 110" SW

And so it was. A faulty bulb creating false earth contact. Thanks for the hints
