vnt turbo fitted
hi guys

well after a nice 170mile drive up to see pete
we fitted a nice shiny new vnt turbo the second of the two the other is on ian from irb developments car

both trucks are from very different ends of the scale his being a van and on big alloys to mine being a fully kitted out truck cab on 35 inch tyres

the turbo took all of about an 30mins-1 hour to fit probly alittle longer we were drinking coffe on the go Laughing

by 12 pm i was on my way home and i have to say wow shes got some seriouse grunt now !!

obviously this has a little trial and error to overcome as these two turbos are the first of hopefully many

so i will be comunicating with pete from bell autos and with ian from irb developments who will be offering these units in the coming weeks Whistle

with a price TBA

although pete fitted mine both Ian ana Pete will be selling them

it looks hardly any different to a standard unit but you can tell the difference when there off the vehicles

i also used my own design copper gasket on mine

I think the Defender drivetrain is not up to a power upgrade as in standard trim there is not one component from the flywheel back that is strong enough...how many clutches and diffs have been changed under standard trim? 2008 RS4 gone, 123d M Sport, and a Puma 90 XS..

So can you just put this in with everything else being standard with no ill effects?

I still want one of those gaskets.

Didn't realize it only took 30 minutes to put in.
