Easy there buddy. LOL! It’s a pretty ambiguous rendering. Somehow I doubt the analogy holds. Stay tuned. Connect the dots from the back of the hood bulge to the top of the roof on the old Defender and you could say the same. Click image to enlarge |

According to today's Daily Mail, Land Rover are doing a live You Tube video at 2000 on the 30th 1970 Series 2A 88"

@Land Rover (the company)
Yawn. Launch or don’t. It’s now dull, dull, dull. You’ve lost the plot. Bling, Bling! Next! |

I must admit I have totally lost what little interest I had in the new "Defender". I just wish they would get on with it and put us all out of our collective misery. I can't imagine many of us are seriously going to look into buying one... 2011 110 USW

It's the only new vehicle I am interested in. The rest of the range is looking dated already.

Hmm... as per the article, they say that it will look different than the original and not be a "modernized" version of the classic look. They DID say there will be small nods to it's heritage.
So does this mean it'll still leak, have poor cabin sealing, Lucas electrical bits, mediocre AC/heating? |
