The filename is MaltaVelarlaunch.jpg
And it looks like a Velar with a little plinth in front. A little googling found this http://www.carcovershop.co.uk/reveal-carcovers.asp |

Looks like that site has just pasted a photo they found on google. No relevance to the reveal.

Speaking to a chap this weekend who’s son works for JLR and was in Portugal with JLR recently looking at the new Defender and he says the 90 looks nice and is worth putting a deposit on not to sure about the 110 and the 130 is just an extended 110 with the same wheel base.

Just bumped into a chap who admiring my Defenders. Chatting away, then he announces "I drove the new Defender last year" Obviously couldn't say much, just said " it's amazing, very advanced and has lots of bolt on options". Querying that it sounds expensive he just said "it won't be cheap". Oh and it's out in 2020. Project L366, I think he said. Sounds interesting, I wonder who he was?? James

Hehe, whoever it was was elaborating a bit. The only new Defender's driving about are those funny shortened Range Rover Sport's pictured driving around. They are only powertrain testing so no features or options yet. That's the next stage of prototype.

I hope they do reveal it soon, as the wife is ready for a new set of wheels, & I was really hopeing to get her a nice small auto Defender. She does like the G300 Proffesional - although she has only seen the G350, & doesn’t realise that the G300 wagon is only a 4 seater, with manual door locks & wind down windows. I so want one, & it even looks like you can get it in a sort of Deep Bronze green. Just wonder how long the G300P will be in production with the new G wagons due out soon. I will be making some serious inquiries, as I realise life is passing way to quickly! 1955 Series 1 107" Pick up.
