United Kingdom 2015 Defender 110 Puma 2.2 USW Santorini Black
I asked the original question and I’ve decided against taking it out.
I was quoted £610.00.
Mine is now three years old but I’ve only covered 4,800 miles so the warranty cost / mile per year worked out quite expensive and I’ve decided to gamble and pray to the Defender Gods instead.

Bob I think it is best to do what ever gives you piece of mind. Personally I did not take out the cover. Further more I do not get my Defender serviced at the dealers but at a country garage. I do about 4 to 5K miles a year and have a 09 110. Although it is low mileage I used to use it everyday to check and feed sheep etc.

So at 42K on the clock I have only had to replace 2 half-shafts, brake pads Tyres.

Everybody has a different experience from what I read.

But I do not buy maintenance insurance on anything I own TV's, motorbikes, Washing Machines and over all I find most things reliable. But there will be others with totally different experiences.

What ever you choose will not be wrong.
