Yes LRA, your right, it was one of those times i did not check what i had written , so the word " up " should be replaced with the word Down Clayton. 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up. Keeper. |

I did, however it wasn't a very good video as I was trying to drive around the site and keep an eye on everything.
I'll have a go at uploading a video when it's all properly ready for the road 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon 1990 Vogue SE Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 Td5 90 Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic50767.html Tdi 110 Thread https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic69562.html RRC Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic54492.html Instagram http://www.instagram.com/george_grafton |

Good to hear all is ok, but any video, quality irrelevant, it's the first drive that counts and you should put it on here Clayton.

Pulled the range rover out of the workshop again today (under it's own power of course )
Gave it a quick bath and put it back on it's original wheels. Aiming for an MOT next week. Then once my defender is back on the road I'll continue the rolling restoration Click image to enlarge 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon 1990 Vogue SE Triumph Tiger Explorer 1200 Td5 90 Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic50767.html Tdi 110 Thread https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic69562.html RRC Thread http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic54492.html Instagram http://www.instagram.com/george_grafton |

The wind deflectors will be going asap. Sill covers, bumper end caps and lower front bumper to fit with lights.

Its a great feeling when you have a car in bits and it moves for the 1st time under its own steam! The real buzz will hit you, when it goes through the mot!
I remember the mot testers smiling when I had the rover metro gta up and running with the 1.8 vvc engine! They did fail it on a few things, but that was a date with the spanner. But they were well over the moon, They said Andy you want to be proud of that! Just do those daft things and we will pass that sure enough as soon as the odd jobs were done, Mot on the car and we were really good to go! The car really did start to make waves, Question is would i go through that again? Yes but to with a rover or a metro again. Parts and info are just a plain pain in the arse! Totally agree with the buzz from getting that MOT for the first time. I spent 18 months building an Austin A35 Van from a shell and boxes of parts (abandoned project). 10 years on I still have it and enjoy it just as much as day one. 1984 One-Ten CSW
