I have one extra fir tree clip in my roof lining to help hold it up. It's been ok since this was added.

Hi, thanks for the reply.
Is your extra one in the rear section then, running along the centre line from the front to the back? Mine are all coming out on the joing between the two sections, so I am thinking I need a more permanent fixing solution? Cheers. |

Thanks chaps.
I had another go last night, gave the extra long ones a whack with a rubber malet and they seems to have gone in better. So i will see and if they still fail I will go down the more permanant route! Cheers. |

Cheers chaps,
the gentle persuasion of the mallet seems to have done the job for now! Cheers. |

If they are pulling them selves out under gravity / roof lining weight try "packing" out the fir trees with a bit of heat shrink tubing WHAT COULD POSSIBLY GO WRONG
