First sunny day at home for a while so thought I would give the Defender a good clean..... 11hrs later and finally done.

Wash by hand, full machine polish, Sonus paint sealant then 2 coats of hard wax. An hour applying ACF-50 with a paint brush..... and some sunburn for me Rolling with laughter 2015 HT XS 90

So, there's a boat on the drive and instead of using the Land Rover to take it to water, launch it and spend quality time just messing around in a boat, you spent 11 hours cleaning the Defender.

Probably certifiable behavior! - Except for a dedicated Land Rover enthusiast Rolling with laughter

Fitted the new and genuine Santorini headlight surrounds, thanks Dan Thumbs Up

With, LED headlights from my last truck & Wipac smoked LED side lights and indicators

Personally, pleased with the result

It was 11 hrs very well spent, must admit I find it very therapeutic and very relaxing. It was too windy today to go out in the boat, hopefully tomorrow Thumbs Up

Sulisuli - your's looks fantastic. I can't to do the rear glass, but love it. We have a similar color scheme, but mine has no black wheel arches, which tempt me . . . .. . . . . . a lot Whistle

Thank you. Mine started life as a commercial HT. funny I like the grey wheel arches Thumbs Up guess we all like something a little different to what we have.

Detailing is so different to the day job, I really enjoy with snowfoam, electric mop and swissvax.

The defender is tucked away now but it’s been on gardening duty today

Also fitted new disks to the daily .. not done it before but surprised how easy it was with the right tools.
