Looks
It will never go near snow got the 109" for that. I don't mind that getting covered in road salt Had a new Yamaha XJR 1300 a few years ago and I took it out when the salt on the roads was just white dust. It wrecked the engine, rusted the pipes everything It ruined the bike, the build quality isn't that great in the first place on Jap bikes  Admin note: this post has had its images recovered from a money grabbing photo hosting site and reinstated Last edited by Zagato on 8th May 2011 5:16pm. Noticed intermitant powerloss between 50 and 60. Got to Llangynidr and the local garage there did some diagnostics and then confirmed the intercoller was shot, proved by the oil seeping through the front grill. £265 fitted ah well

Took off & fitted new side step bars to passenger side. What a job. Took 2 hours to get the olds ones off, and they are only attached by 6 bolts, but boy, were they on fast!
As it is now coming down hard here, leaving drivers side til another day. Steps are the Fire & Ice black ones with the rubber inserts - much better than my previous, seriously rusted old ones with the extremely slippery chequerplate on top. 2001 TD5 110 DCPU in Bonatti Grey |
