Oh sorry. I switched it off to test and tried to start, nothing as expected but then wouldn't start for a couple of minutes, not turning over as if the battery was flat, then started turning over without starting, then started ok.
Definitely works. If use use as intended there are no problems.

A couple of minutes... Seems a little inconvenient to use in some situations.

Seems the ECU has to perform some post-emergency checks/inits.

No don't get me wrong, that only happens if you try and start the car with the cut off activated. I did it on purpose to check!

aaah, ok! I didn't realise you can (re)start the engine with the inertia switch activated, even if it takes a while, after an accident.
So no delay in everyday use. That's good.
