I saw one that looked exactly like the bowler racing bumper except without the holes on a facebook page, don't suppose anyone knows where I can find another like it? - I have a feeling it may have been custom fabricated as the guy was selling a whole bunch of them

Crap photo I know (replacing a dead shock......) but bumper is a wildbear close/high mount.

Pleased with it as it's fairly discreet, it fits very close- the winch could not go much further back.

Compared to most tubular bumpers I have seen it seems very robust- there are substantial gusset plates under each of the tube sections and it Has shrugged off a few reasonable knocks.

If fitting a new bumper fit a solid one never mind these fancy ones with holes and DRLs in it needs to be useful not just to look at Thumbs Up
Just my opinion though

I'll second that. Thumbs Up

Mick, the hole spacing is odd for the Huskys so I CNC'd and anodised my own - where did you get your fairlead from?

^^^Are all 3 of these bumpers from mantec - so no longer available in UK (only available from Rovers North, USA??)

I know mine is from Mantec UK, and I was told it was the last one out. No harm in asking them again, or perhaps asking around the various supplier if they still have one on the shelf. Rovers North appear to be describing the same bumper, but waaaay over priced even including after comparing the total price shipping of mine to NZ included. Would be interesting to know if they're actually stocked or not, it's possible they simply haven't updated their website for a while. If they have stock then you're effectively paying to have had it shipped to the states and stored for a few years, then back... Shocked

Mine is having the Dixon Bate points installed/drilled shortly .. Solved the bowel problem, working on the consonants...

Yep I can testify to the tuffness of the ARB bull bar.

Yesterday I had a collision with a car that was on the wrong side of the road, my first accident in over 30 years of professional driving......i have driven trucks nearly all my working life.

The Toyota definatley came off second best.

It was pretty scary really, when you come around the corner, the car in front of you swerves right and almost collects a lamp post, then you look up and see a car driving straight at you. I hit the brakes and also swerved right, (it was a duel carriageway), but they kept driving at me. We collided, my front passenger side took most of the impact, as I had turned to the right to try to avoid the Toyota.

The most scary think was, the elderly gentleman driving looked at me like I was in the wrong, it took him a full 5 seconds or so to realise he was on the wrong side of the rosd.

So yes I can testify to the rugged build quality of the ARB bar, the collision was relatively low speed, I was travelling at about 20kmph, and so was the Toyota. My front passenger side quarter panel is also dented, just in front of the side indicator.

Does anyone know whether the tubular A Bar works with the KBX grille?

I'm after one to attach an LED Light bar to.
