Roxor - new Mahindra
I quite like the look of this!

Not road legal, nor available in uk (yet?) but good spec and cheap!

Their website gives a detailed history of the company and how it has grown over the last 70 years. The Roxor looks good for the money. Defender 90XS SW

I have driven quite a few from Mahindra when we lived in India and IMHO they are absolutely dreadful. Big Cry
Small has a 80" Series One, , which I travel in when caught out and that has to be luxury in comparison. Laughing

Has anyone looked at how cheap a 4.0 Jeep Wrangler can be bought in Japan Whistle

No, I'm not buying but they are cheap.

It totally misses the mark for the UK by not being road legal.

In the US there's a good market for Side-by-side (SxS) off road only vehicles, that this seems to be aimed at.
They are generally independent suspension things that can cover uneven ground at a fast rate - see Ken Block on last week's Top Gear. Against those machines the Mahindra will be slow and uncomfortable.
The novelty of looking like an old jeep will soon wear off when you can't drive on road or keep up with everyone else off it.
