Thanks, I do try to keep it generally clean in the hope it will last a little longer! plus i like a clean Defender
Cheers, I don't venture far but please do give us a wave if you drive past
I ended up painting it with halyards paint, its help up quite well for being 2 years on now'ish. it has some chunks out of it from having the ratchet straps on and off when I've transported stuff, also the odd branch may have attacked it![/quote] 2011 Defender DCPU 2.2 - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic30623.html Instagram - @r22oyp Roy |

Got around to fitting the hinges and door handles!
What a pain of a job getting the old handles off all four handles retaining screws had welded themselves to the brass threaded inserts! Resulting in the old handles being removed with a hammer But the end result was worth it! Just need to wash the rest of the landy now. Looks really nice, good choice of mods.
I went for a DCPU So I didn’t have to care about the dogs trashing the inside. We had two pigs in the back last week ! |

Sometimes I like to keep myself busy doing random things, slowly making the landy what I want it to be. . Footwell lights in the front. Rears will get installed when I find some more time.

A few little personal touches to the landy.
“Works” style personalised badges. Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge Then a little project of mine. “Mood” lighting on the door handles, unlock handles and cup holder area. Got 3 out of the 4 doors wired up now just need to do the last one. Won’t be to everyone’s taste but I like them. Colour and brightness is variable. Its a generic strip on RGB LEDs cut into singles and joined back together again for the door looms, Simply powered by a USB socket and controlled by an IR remote. 2011 Defender DCPU 2.2 - https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic30623.html Instagram - @r22oyp Roy |
