@Blackwolf. No I don’t know for sure. I too have never seen a non indicator vehicle in the flesh. You may be correct.
It’s good that we discuss these things on forums, because without it, the knowledge will be lost. 2021 Defender 110 X-Dynamic HSE D300 MHEV 1966 S2a 109 aka Betsy 1968 S2a 88 aka Bob 2014 Jaaaag F Type 3.0 Supercharged. |

I'd be inclined to agree that they all had the holes, the 'weathering' around the capping on yours is a mystery though.

I saw that restoration thread and rather unexpected sale on the SII Club forum too, and thought you would buy it, after the pm!
There is no need to speculate, they all had the extra hole in the rear corner capping when built. |

That's a nice looking Two there, Crossfit. Do you regret selling it? |

A bit! But it would have been for one reason or another, I probably simply needed the cash at the time!
I've been fortunate to have owned some lovely cars over the years and wouldn't have been able to do that without a one in one out policy! If I'm totally honest I think I may prefer a Series 2 to a 1 |

Regret selling my 1960 S2 SWB rag top
Gutted that according to DVLA it's been on SORN now for over 5 years after MoT ran out - hopefully just taking a long time to get restored & not just rusting away quietly... Click image to enlarge |

However interested to hear if and how broken the news to the wife...selfishly I’m looking for tips on that front as have a very big series itch that needs itching. |
