Mine shakes like a b****. The ball joint seems very loose however- if I try to operate the dip lever the whole mirror moves out of the way first! It’s been like this since it was new.

Are they not all like that? (Sir) 2014 Keswick Utility 2.2

Solved the bowel problem, working on the consonants...

Out of curiosity checked with both Allbrit and with my dealer. Part was discontinued, and no stock left. So a fresh cork seems the answer. I can offer a nice wine cork for 10£ plus shipping. A real Prosecco cork at only 1£ premium. A bargain.

Have you got a photo of your cork? Mine also shakes a little so will do the cork trick to mine 😂

No worries, just make sure its at least 2" as mine is not and has started to vibrate a bit now
