I se Raptor are now doing wolf copies, 1250kg, but with zero offset! So they have the wolf centre, but they look wider, like a 1 ton rim , bit like a banded wolf.

4x4tyres do a Tuff Torque Wolf Style wheel with ET0 offset at a much better price!

https://www.4x4tyres.co.uk/16-x-65-tuff-to...0-%202016)

Shame it's not just a little wider to allow a tyre bigger than 255.

As a non-Wolf-possessing imposter, all I can say is that it's a fine collection of styles, colours and tyres that have been offered up. Thumbs Up

For my two pennies worth, I do prefer the wolf colour to contrast the body colour, obvious exceptions being Mash (and others') MOD Spec vehicles.

I was going to award Widget with Grenadier's 'Soft Top Of The Month' award, (well regarded in Defender circles), for a beautiful little 90, until I scrolled down to see an oversized photo of a pint of 6X in the sunshine. That's a torture too far to be ignored, no respect or forethought for those of use living overseas, so the award will be given to someone else. Whistle

Having seen Eric's photos and how Wolfs look on Blackwolf's similarly coloured DCPU, think I might have to get a Wolf/Hakkapeliitta set-up as my winter tyres for next season. Monsieur Le Grenadier

I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list.....

Rim size confusion
Do genuine Wolf wheels come in different rim sizes or are they all 6.5"?

I found the table below and it's added to my confusion Confused
https://www.tyres-pneus-online.co.uk/tyre-equivalence-advice.html

It would suggest that 235/85 16 aren't really ideal for standard Wolf wheels yet I know that's what I've got on mine (although I guess mine are likely aftermarket).
Or maybe it depends more on tyre itself(?)
Or, maybe the table's a load of rubbish.

Rim width Minimum tyre width Ideal tyre width Maximum tyre width
5,0 Inches 155 mm 165 or 175 mm 185 mm
5,5 Inches 165 mm 175 or 185 mm 195 mm
6,0 Inches 175 mm 185 or 195 mm 205 mm
6,5 Inches 185 mm 195 or 205 mm 215 mm
7,0 Inches 195 mm 205 or 215 mm 225 mm
7,5 Inches 205 mm 215 or 225 mm 235 mm
8,0 Inches 215 mm 225 or 235 mm 245 mm
8,5 Inches 225 mm 235 or 245 mm 255 mm
9,0 Inches 235 mm 245 or 255 mm 265 mm
9,5 Inches 245 mm 255 or 265 mm 275 mm
10,0 Inches 255 mm 265 or 275 mm 285 mm
10,5 Inches 265 mm 275 or 285 mm 295 mm
11,0 Inches 275 mm 285 or 295 mm 305 mm
11,5 Inches 285 mm 295 or 305 mm 315 mm
12,0 Inches 295 mm 305 or 315 mm 325 mm
12,5 Inches 305 mm 315 or 325 mm 335 mm

Also, another quick question Smile
What is the offset on a genuine Wolf wheel?

Many thanks, Cheers,
Andy...

Genuine "Wolf" rims are only available in 6.5 width and have a 20.6 mm offset. The only choices with genuine rims are tubeless (ANR4583) or tube type (ANR5593).

There is much info online from tyre manufacturers and others concerning the matching of tyres to rims, and in my opinion most of it can be taken with a pinch of salt. For example, there are hundreds, possibly thousands, of people running 285s on Boosts (7") without any problems (even though this is perhaps controversial) , and Landrover themselves factory fit 235/85s on Boost alloys, which, according to the data you have posted, would be disallowed.

There must be a lot of "slammed and rimmed" kiddicars that don't conform too!
