Today I checked my Prop UJ's, cannot see any excessive play at all other than normal expectations. (Next to none).
Checked wheel nuts, all good there and tyre pressures were not too bad 2 PSi out but nothing of concern.

Have too see how it goes, as I came back and through a water Ford too I'm wondering if maybe I filled the handbrake drum with water at the time.
It was a very very wet mucky evening and getting dark too.

*EDIT*
Just been out, seems to be a rumble / vibration at times not others.
No problems pulling or feel or control, seems most noticeable on over run if easing off the acellerator.
And sometimes when pulling up and going down though the gears.

Hmmm.
I still won't rule out UJ's as not being able to see condition in full, there doesn't appear to be excess play.
But that may not account for it?
There doesn't appear to be any Prop weights missing or anything like that. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️

Could be a diff bearing? My rear diff has started to rumble at about 30 mph.

If you've been through deep water and some has got into the axles it will quickly ruin things..... 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

Well I haven't deliberately been wading but you never know.
About 40 mph seems a favourite but does seem sporadic, I could understand it a bit more if I'd been off-road but I haven't.
Nothing different to normal really, except for lots of water about so all I can think of is as you say maybe water got somewhere.
I think I'll grease the props and UJ's anyway shortly, see what happens.
After that, drain axle oils and replace if need be.

Looking underneath today, there didn't seem anything seriously untoward so will have to see what I can sort out.
Might pay to clean all the wheels up too, maybe got some mud and stuff on the inside of the rims. ⭐️⭐️God Bless the USA 🇬🇧🇺🇸 ⭐️⭐️

I dropped millie off at my indy's for another 6,000 mile service, so she is in for 2 days instead of the usual 1 day, this is to sort out some very annoying problems Banging Head 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.

Yesterday she had new engine mounts, new injector loom and a new bung in the head behind the exhaust manifold to put a end to a coolant leak.. oh and the exhaust manifold skimmed as she was a little out of shape.

Today I’ve got myself a MOT and she passed with a couple of advisories “oil leak” Rolling with laughter and a slightly corroded front brake pipe.

Fixing fluid leaks is a weekly job , one to continue in summer Mr. Green

Long time lurker on the forum here, took my 110 I've been restoring to the MOT, radiator hose blew off in the queue and spent a good few minutes hanging inside the bay trying to reaffix it. I think the technician enjoyed the sight because it flew through with no problems.
