how come none of these pics show rusty rims? Mine are rusted around the edge despite my best efforts, being white it shows up as a mess. I know they can be repainted but tyres off all 4 wheels to do so?? Great wheels but how to keep them smart?

i have had a fair few rusty wolf rims , after market ones are better painted than genuine ones it seems and ex mod ones have lots of coats of paint on them.
here are my latest set,new rims with newish take off tires and all balance weights on the rear face. Click image to enlarge |

@wdef34 - what size are those tyres please - the size suits the vehicle exceptionally well - they look like 255/85/16??

Friend tyres are 900r16, keep in mind not all 900r16 tyres have the same diameter, old style ones like mine are about 34.5 inches which is at the upper limit of too much in my opinion, michelin for example does the xzl, xcl, in 36inches which is way off in looks and cv tolerances... If it came to choosing tyres again id go for 255/85/16 in radial to be honest.
