No it is definitely possible to repair a turbo at home. Providing the housings are in good nick, so no impeller damage, then it is just a case of sourcing a CHRA core and replacing it. You have the choice of a standard or i think their is some upgraded semi-hybrid CHRAs out their to be had.

Easily done, and a cheaper option as long as the rest is good 80" 80" 86" 88" 90" Wanted, Forward Control Anything considered. |

Having seen it on Wheel Dealers it does look easy enough. It was just the need to get the balancing done I wasn't sure about 1999 Defender TD5 110
