Yes a good mod and definitely worth doing whilst you are changing the calipers anyway as it is low cost.
Standard brakes are ok but the vented discs dissipate the heat quicker so are less likely to overheat. Defender Td5 Commercial 2002 Range Rover L322 TDV8 Westminster 2012 Discovery 4 SDV6 Landmark 2016 |

Great news!
I'll get all the bits ordered. I needed to flush and replace the brake fluid anyway. While I've got it all apart I may treat it to some braided brake lines to top it all off. |

Worth checking companies like tmd/irb who do big brake upgrades to see if they have any take off which would be discs and calipers td5 and Puma are the same and might be a cheaper way to do it 2008 110 2.4 XS Utility (Hagrid)

Well everything arrived and I started fitting today in the cold!
Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge However I now have the issue the brake pipes are well seized into the old calipers. I'm going to wreck them getting the out so it's time for new ones. While I do is it worth going for braided brake lines as well? Goodrich, Hel or someone else? (Also can someone link me to a kit for fronts and rears on a td5 non ABS?) |
