Have never had this problem but then I never wash my engine !!! Did you pressure wash it ? As a pressure washer is quite capable of pushing water past the seals on sensor connections on the engine I would be inclined to disconnect the connections to the maf sensor, the map sensor, crank position sensor and any other connections you can see and make sure they are dry if wet blow out with compressed air if available if not use paper towel to soak up excess moisture then spray with WD40 or similar. Also make sure your air filter and housing are dry, whilst in there check the ambient air temperature sensor that lives in there and check it’s connections for moisture ingress.

I’m not sure l would jet wash an engine at all, let alone do it while it is running.

I jetwash mine on a lower setting, sometimes its caked in muck and needs a clean!
Not sure whats happened, could have killed the crank sensor. Ideally you need to plug in to some diagnostics |

Remove airfilter and make sure it isnt wet.

Not totally true. I had an intermitant starting/running fault (would cut out randomly) after some deep wading. Changed the sensor perfect again.
110 had a slow starting issue which was also down to the crank sensor. |

Definately check the air filter, got a bit deep wading once and had similar symptoms. Filter had gotten damp and a chunk fell off which ended up in the maf sensor!

disconnect all cables on the engine, dry, spray contact cleaner and reconnect.
Use the opportunity to relocate all those that were full of . Fixing Land Rovers in rural Guanacaste |

Echoing this sentiment as well. CPS if faulty can start engine but cuts out randomly! Changing this also fixed my intermittent and dead throttle issue. |
