Double speed indicator
I assumed this would be the bulb but I removed the bulb not lighting up and it looked fine. Could this be something else? Thanks for any advice. JJ

Could be corrosion in the bulb holder or a connection issue, probably rear indicator? 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

I think it's normal for indicators to flash double speed if a bulb fails etc. - or it used to be.

As indicated by Grafty, if the bulb is tested and known as good, I'd give the connections a really good clean and get a multi meter or similar on the wiring. Sometimes the connection in the bulb holder needs a bit of 'adjustment.'

Sometimes bulbs (or 'lamps' as I am continually reminded) can fail at the base and show no visible signs at the element.

Worth having a few spares anyway, or better still, get some LED's as they are only cheap for a pair of complete 'original' looking lights - RDX, Wipac on eBay.

Hope you get it sorted Thumbs Up

Remember to check the side indicators on the front wings too?
