Love the canopy Greeni. Have been considering one for the DC. What are memebrs' general thoughts on whether an open-sided canopy would look good on a DCPU or not? Monsieur Le Grenadier I've not been everywhere, but it's on my list..... 2011 Puma 110DC - Corris Grey |

I really like the look of a dcpu with canvas hood. I only imagine you don't see many because they are impractical/not secure? But look great IMO. James

I love them too, but this is a specific version made by Exmoor which has sides which roll up. Completely pointless, it would be a purchase based entirely upon, as you point out, looks.

I had a NAS style mohair hood on my double cab a few years back, cost a small fortune but between lack of security for anything kept in the load bed and the water making its way in through every small gap due to our rubbish uk weather and the fabric freezing solid in winter it was totally impractical 2014 110 2.2TDCi XS Station wagon

Today was a nice sunny day here with unwinter like 11°C temps. So a nice last day of the year to give the SVX a bit of a clean, essentially a run thru the local car wash street followed by towel drying at home. Wishing you all a safe slide into 2018.

Took the defenders green laning today, in Thetford. Very wet and muddy! Lots of other 4x4s and bikes out. Also saw two huge herds of deer!

Got up early and gave my pride and joy a wash, and stick my new defender2.net sticker on back door. Then took the dog up to ladybower for a swim ☺️
