lol thanks
worked out 2018's list of things to do! new suspension and bushes all round probably OME to replace the worn OE one out as its a bit wallowy with the extra weight on and crashy on rough road surfaces new uprated brakes to rein in my hybrid turbo crazy remap lol. Fit the full set of Ashcroft HD shafts and CV's ive got sat under the stairs, replace the KM2's with 285 75 16 BFG KO2 AT's as I do a lot of road mileage. Keep the KM's on wolf rims as a off road set. new security hinges all round X-Eng Unlockable anti roll bars. match the epsom green roof to the rest of the Corris grey body work from being converted from DC to USW new rear work lights Stainless steel 4" snorkel to complement my custom 4" air intake. Maybe some Recaro CS sportser front seats! Sound proof/insulate interior coat chassis Got pretty much everything else fitted 2008 Santorini Black 110 XS USW (Sold) 2015 Discovery 4.5 Black pack Firenze red XS 2008 Corris Grey 110 XS USW (sold) 2011 Santorini Black 110 XS USW (Sold) |

cheers bankz, yeah im going for a big 3-4" snorkel straight to my air intake pipe and I might even swap the airbox for a inline filter like the Nissan patrols do.
Im thinking of new brake fluid, new callipers, all braided lines and new discs with some EBC pads suited for my use. current are 265 KM2 and are well used! having been to Walters arena 5 times and done 40,000 miles in my ownership and I bought them used!!! As for soundproofing I was also using Craig at buzzsweld for lizard skin so if u think its awesome im looking forwards to it as hes local. 2008 Santorini Black 110 XS USW (Sold) 2015 Discovery 4.5 Black pack Firenze red XS 2008 Corris Grey 110 XS USW (sold) 2011 Santorini Black 110 XS USW (Sold) |

I was thinking the same intake wise actually!! Just not too sure... cant do much till the cage is on anyhow so ill see how you get on
So far I really rate the lizardskin, better than dynamat thus far. Cheaper, easier to apply, more coverage and deadens sound better. That said I also layered the doors with 6mm closed cell foam and 3mm on top! Ill stick up some pics of me process tomorrowish if you like? (Do buy the applicator gun tho, standard shutz makes a fooking mess!l ) Sticking with standard discs? If your Puma is mapped like my TD5 id love to see it! Haha |

You won't go wrong with standard callipers, EBC discs and pads... Superb upgrade to Miffy. She really stops well. This time around I have EBC front vented (dimpled and grooved) with EBC Yellow Stuff pads and britpart solid (drilled and grooved) with Green Stuff pads. Calipers are only 12 months old. Braided pipes and fresh fluid.
If you have a 110 EBC do not do rear discs or pads. Only for the 90 and yes they are different in terms of disc to hub offset. It is irritatingly just enough not to work. Britpart on the other hand do sell 110 rear discs and they are superb, previous set of discs last 4-5 years and were faultless. The Green stufff pads I have are for a 90. The only difference is the thickness of the braking material (thinner than on a 110) but the shape of the pad is identical. I opted for this because I adore the lack of chatter and squeal you get with EBC pads. 285/75/16 tyres are the way to go. I have just put on a set of BFG AT KO2s and love them to bits already. They are phenomenal in the rain, snow and ice and are really quiet. Only issue and something to think about is that they do spray a heap of dirt up the side of your vehicle so budget for dirt defenders or Gwyn Lewis' mud flap kit. thanks boys very informative posts there!
Im just awaiting my new stainless snorkel should be ready this week then thats the intake all watertight and nice n restriction free I will look at britpart discs with EBC pads As Ive bashed the rear corners a few times im looking for some rear corner bumperettes Good review on the K02's I will order a set in a month or so not bothered about the dirt part of the 285's as 265's already do that and its so dirty around where I live and where I work lol 110 is now sitting on 171,000 miles and still going lovely! yes I know I need to get the roof sprayed at some point! Clutch is on its way out! My pedal bite point is quite close to the floor so I am about to pay for a Syncro ULTRAspec clutch as the last one has only lasted 40k, I do do high miles and drive like a lunatic quite often.
I also have some Ashcroft HD shafts, CV's and end caps sat in the garage so ill get garage to chuck those on as well. still waiting on my new snorkel! heres last week's picture of it at the office. Its back from the garage having had the Syncro Ultraspec clutch kit fitted, very light pedal feel and instant uptake, quite different feel from the last AP clutch which still had a bit of meat on it after 50k miles since 2016, I have to bed it in for 500 miles being kevlar, so no hooning for me for a little under a week as I do 600 miles a week lol.
It also had the winch serviced and the Lazer light bars moved from above to below cage to keep em out of harms way. Click image to enlarge Mechanically its spot on now. got most of the toys I wanted on It fitted! Just the suspension and steering box to sort out now plus the paint work! Plus fit the Ashcroft HD shafts CV's and caps I have still sat in the garage not a very long list now though! 2008 Santorini Black 110 XS USW (Sold) 2015 Discovery 4.5 Black pack Firenze red XS 2008 Corris Grey 110 XS USW (sold) 2011 Santorini Black 110 XS USW (Sold) |
