Most the usual suspects do stainless pistons and they all look alright not heard any problems.
I used IIRC EAC parts stainless pistons and Definitely use Genuine seals and retainers as a few pattern one's have been reputed to not fit. and IMHO I would risk such a critical component to skimp on quality. |

I split the calipers when I refurbished the brakes of our MY06 110 and bought stainless pistons and new gallery seals (the rubber rings or tubes between the two caliper halves) on shop4autoparts.net. They're about the only ones I know of that have the gallery seals on offer.
If you need the new gallery seals than make sure not to throw away the small tubes that are inside the longer seals of the front calipers. They're not included in the new ones. Greetings, Joris |

If you're pressed for time and/or your parts supplier is far away get yourself a spare retaining ring or two, I bent one beyond repair in the installation (it was the last, I got too confident...)
Also it's as good a time as any to invest in a brake union spanner.. Solved the bowel problem, working on the consonants... |

Thanks for the info guys,
I have a lot of other bits to purchase, as its a complete vehicle refurb, stub axles all round, front swivels, suspension bushed all round etc etc, so any suggestions on the best supplier would be appreciated, bearings and seals I am going to oem's or even genuine if its affordable, again any suggestions would be great. Many thanks David |

Timken bearings
Corteco seals Paper gaskets just go Bearmach Bearmach also ok for the swivel pin/bearing sets In general I avoid britpart like the plague but britpart 'OEM' swivel housings and flanges are actually pretty good For brakes I went all genuine Lots of parts places, personally, I use landroverworkshop.com to find parts and compare prices, then invariably go to brit-car.co.uk or paddock to buy them. Solved the bowel problem, working on the consonants... |
