I know exactly your pain, I also have to contend with muddy Devon lanes on a daily basis! I have the VBS Nemesis wheels on mine and cleaning them is a doddle. They're gloss finish which makes it easy to start with and they are open spoked enough to get in to clean the inner rim Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

Another advantage of the VBS wheels is that they use standard wheel nuts. I think the twisted alloys have to have special nuts Thumbs Up 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

£190????

twisted sell the coated black ones for circa £25.... or are we talking locking wheel nuts?

one other thing to remember about going to 18" is it makes the brakes look small and stupid imo... which leads to more money being spent on big brakes Embarassed

Hi Clayton the Bowlers would have been my first choice if i didnt live in the country and only did 1000 miles a year but I dont as you know Very Happy with the miles I do on muddy westcounty roads and my OCD of keeping my defender clean meant that 16" Twisted in Satin black were my preferred choice this time, I liked the visual of the Sawtooths but hated cleaning them but only need to clean them once more once they are removed for the new buyer Very Happy 2015 HT XS 90

I know what your saying Sulisuli and understand why Smile but the cleaning of them would not stop me putting the Bowlers on Mr. Green 1996 Golf Blue 300Tdi 110 Pick up.
