What is a Graham Norton? Is it some kind of euphemism or something? Oh hang on, I just remembered, I don't care. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

Nepotism, in middle management. Your face doesn't fit so you can get the blame for anything we feel like. Don't back me into too much of a corner, you won't like it if I come out fighting. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

First rant on here - Amazon Parcel Deliveries
Anyone noticed how Amazon have gone from massive over packing of parcels to ...well er nothing? Ordered a DVD player for my Son at Uni and it arrived completely unwrapped in its box unsealed and battered! And to think I was stupid enough to pay for Prime ![]() 2010 XS USW (sold) 1957 Series One 88 diesel 1958 Series One 88 4x2 |

Weather forecast providers. Looking at the forcast for this afternoon it is going to range between a Canadian blizzard and a couple of light showers depending on which of the two more accurate more often services you look at. It is now essentially impossible for me to make a valid decision as to what provisions I put in place for the welfare of the sheep. Trust the blizzard and put out extra hay that I could have better need of later or trust the showers and have sheep half starved huddled behind walls under drifts of snow. It can't really be so hard to get a forcast something like can it with all the money being thrown at it? It's not a simple matter of taking a few extra minutes to get home because the roads are a bit slippery, if I misjudge it too badly too often it affects the welfare of the livestock under my care and my livelihood. I feel your pain, I also work outside for a living and have ended up giving up on the forecasts completely and just take what comes. When you do look I would say they are accurate perhaps 20% of the time for my area. It's rubbish 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

The amount of times the forcast says it is currently raining and it's actually sunny really does beggar belief. Thing is thought that it's not really for my benefit I need it fairly close so I can offer the best support to my livestock, and the forcast being opposite to the actual can make a lot of wasted effort. One more thing, I suspect that the accuracy would improve if the forcasters were only paid for the days they got it right. Rhubarb and custard let fly with their secret weapon.

Lambert, I feel the same way about Footballers.
If they got paid only on results, the Premiership may look a different place* *I am in no way a football supporter - I just think it is bizarre that these numpties get paid eye wateringly large amounts of money to draw 0-0 or lose and those that follow football tell me that they watch a match and the players show no commitment to the game. It is also strange how so many clubs operate at a loss and they can't make money. I dare say my boss could run a business like that if he paid me £150000 a week - not that it would last long. |
