oilpressure warning light
My oilpressure warning light goes on when i have driven for about 20-30 km and i park the car. When the engine runs stainonary the oilpressure light goes on. When i rev the engine a little bit iit goes out. I had this about 4 weeks ago, then it stops until today. It started again. Could it be the sensor? or do i have to be worried about the pump? Oil level is good, no oil leaks. Is this a familiar problem?

change the oil pressure switch first, if you can find an oil pressure gauge fit this and see what pressure you have, after that its the pump or engine wear, but a gauge will tell you what is happening and when. DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,

I hope everyone is well and your land rovers make you happy

Rear camshaft bearing can shuffle out of position, you usually get this as a first sign before the light being on all the time at idle before it stays on all the time. After checking the sensor is fine I would pull off the side plate to have a looksee.

I had a very similar issue, solved by a replacement oil pressure switch 1990 Defender 110 200TDI Camper - now converted to Td5 power
